Dr. Mohammadamin Sheikhshahrokhdehkordi, PH.D.

 Dr. Mohammadamin Sheikhshahrokhdehkordi, also known as, Dr. Amin Dehkordi is an Adjunct Professor in the Office of Student Development and Success (OSDS) at the William States Lee College of Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UNC Charlotte in 2023, specializing in computational and experimental fluid dynamics research, building energy efficiency, thermal comfort assessment, and natural ventilation in the built environment and turbomachinery design. In addition to teaching, he works as an Aero-Thermal Engineer, focusing on compressor design and performance optimization. Amin enjoys connecting classroom theory to real-world engineering challenges, making complex ideas clear and practical for his students.
