Linda Thurman, M.A.

Linda Thurman, MA, is currently the College of Engineering Director for Employer Relations and Student Professional Development and Career & Co-op Advisor, and supports students, alumni and employers. With over 29 years of technical recruiting, employer relations, professional development, and career advising experience.  She was the first public board member to serve as Chair of the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Land Surveyors and is now an emeritus member and the college liaison. Ms. Thurman also was appointed by the former NC Governor to the GICC (Geographic Information Coordinating Council for North Carolina). Ms. Thurman is very active in ASEE (American Society of Engineering Education, and is an officer for the College-Industry Partnership Division). She is also a public notary for students, faculty and staff.
