Is there homework or graded assignments?
No. However, participation on assignments and discussions during the sessions will reflect on your attendance.
How will MAPS affect my GPA?
Students who regularly attend MAPS sessions are more likely to achieve a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher compared to students who do not attend.
Will MAPS still benefit me as a sophomore, junior, senior, or transfer student?
Yes, definitely. The curriculum for all of the topics covered during sessions is designed to aid students as they transition into the Lee College of Engineering regardless of where they are in their respective programs.
Both fall and spring semesters cover academic success and professional development strategies specific to the needs of engineering students that will carry forward into their future professional careers.
